Here's a quiz just for fun based on the statues of London and their history. Some answers can be found through the links on other pages of this website, and others can be worked out from the photo. Some may be found in the book Stone Child. This of course, is an encouragement to buy the book but then I think it's a good story and worth the £5 is costs to download it.  Anyway see how you get on and enjoy. If you would like to email me with your answers, I'll let you know how well you've done. Click on the contact page on the menu bar. Good luck!

PS. You can always contact me if you get stuck.

This is a statue of George Washington (1732-1799). It is outside the front of the National Galley, Trafalgar Square, London. (Someone has added the blue neckchief).

Question 1.

Who was George Washington?

How tall is the actual statue and why is that relevant?
